August 8-the KSRA
Alumni Banquet which is to be held at Manhattan Country Club on
October 27th. The time is TBD, it will be scheduled around the KSU football
game. This event is open to all KSRA (K-State Men and Juniors) Alumni
celebrating 44 years of rowing. There will be a dinner and a guest
speaker, Rich Porter of Porter Farms. Anyone who would like to attend
or help with setting up the event should contact:
rharms@purpleprairie.net.

Also, We will be recruiting for the fall season at MHS East Campus during back-to-school night on August 15 from 6-8 p.m. Current team members should try to come and help out.

Interested in learning to row this summer? Summer rowing starts June 4th and costs $10 per week or $50 for all six weeks. Kevin M., Nora S., and Jake N. are coaching it this summer and would love to see you there! For more information e-mail:  mjcsummerrowing@hotmail.com

Hey everyone.  Erg sprints are Saturday in Topeka, hope you all can join us.  Check your email for instructions on how to get to the Pepsi factory.  Peter has waivers for everyone!

Also, we have a new fundraiser.  After the basketball games we can clean up the gym.  It's an easy way to put some money into your rowing account.

Thank you everyone who participated in the Row for Humanity fundraiser.  Pretty soon the numbers from row for humanity will be available.  Thanks again!
